Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of New Generation Academy's ("NGA", "the school", "we") digital services at amashuri.com: NGA MIS, Task Mentor, Tendo, Tupo, and their reminders, apps and integrations (together, "the Services"). By signing in, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use the Services

The Services are for NGA's students, parents and guardians, teachers, staff and people the school invites.

• Accounts are created or approved by the school.
• Your access depends on your role.
• Access ends when you leave the school or the school withdraws it.
• A student under 18 uses the Services with the school's and their parent or guardian's supervision.

2. Your account

• Keep your sign-in details private. Don't share your account or use someone else's.
• Tell the school at once at mis@nga.ac.rw if you think your account was misused.
• When you sign out of NGA MIS, you are signed out of the connected NGA apps too. Sign out on shared computers.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Services for learning, teaching and school work, and follow the school's code of conduct. Do not:

• harass, bully, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or share hateful, violent, sexual or otherwise inappropriate content;
• cheat, for example by sharing quiz answers, submitting others' work as your own, or trying to bypass time limits;
• access, change or delete data you aren't authorised to, or try to get around security or permissions;
• upload malware, send spam, or overload or disrupt the Services;
• share other people's personal information, photos or recordings without permission, including recordings of meetings;
• use the Services for commercial purposes or anything unlawful.

The school may review content and activity where needed for safety, safeguarding, security or discipline, as described in the Privacy Policy. It may also remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create, such as assignments, posts and messages. You allow the school to store, display and process it as needed to run the Services and for school purposes, such as marking and records. Teaching materials created for the school are subject to the school's policies.

5. Reminders and connected services

• Notifications, Telegram, Google Calendar, calendar links and email alerts are optional, and you can turn them off at any time.
• Reminders are a convenience. Delivery depends on your device, browser, network and third-party services, so always check official schedules and deadlines in the Services.
• Google Calendar and Telegram are provided by their own companies under their own terms. We only use them as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Services available and accurate, but they are provided "as is". There may be maintenance, interruptions or errors. We may change, add or remove features. Where the law allows, the school is not liable for indirect losses caused by unavailability or errors. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Rwandan law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. We aim to resolve concerns directly with you first.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and the date above shows the latest version. If you keep using the Services after a change, that means you accept it. Questions: mis@nga.ac.rw.
